Homewood Suites by Hilton Saratoga Springs

Great location close to downtown Saratoga Springs! If you’re visiting in the winter, I’d honestly recommend coming back in the summer—there’s so much more to do. Winter here is snowy and pretty quiet, but this hotel is top notch. They even came right away to fix the dishwasher, and it’s very pet-friendly as you can see lol! Definitely worth the stay. Right next door is The Treehouse, an awesome spot to grab a drink. A little further down the road is Saratoga Spa State Park—be sure to try one of the natural spring drinking fountains! In the summer, make sure you visit the track, stroll through the shops, and enjoy how beautiful the area gets. And if you have time, Lake George is only about 45 minutes away. There are always events happening, and it’s a lively little area. Take a boat tour and check out the mansions along the water’s edge—totally worth it!

Overall the stay was okay; on this specific trip, the hotel was full of kids, running around, unsupervised... Waiting 5 minutes for an elevator because they were having a joyride, wasn't awesome after a really long day. And there is only the one elevator.

Staff was very friendly. Building is immaculate. Very hospitable and kind. Clean pool and hot tub. Free hot and cold breakfast! Receptionist was amazing!

Stayed here many times. A little disappointed this trip tho. They now charge $10/day for parking. They also hold $150 until check out and take the$10 per day out of it and credit you back the remainder. Room safe doesn't work. We'll prob look for a different hotel next time.

Everything was perfect for us. Breakfast offered more than expected,our room was clean, easy in and out. No complaints would come back

We had a great stay here—conveniently located to the racetrack, which we ended up walking to. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the facility and rooms were immaculate! Someone was always cleaning. And the breakfast was incredible—we expected the typical continental, but there was a great fruit salad, hot and cold items that were available and fresh (chia pudding, overnight oats, eggs, bacon/sausage, waffles, breakfast burritos). We are already planning to return for next year's race season!

We were originally staying at another hotel in Saratoga Springs that was terrible, and since we were going to be in the area for another week, we needed to find more suitable accommodation. We were so happy to have found this place. We chose the one-room King suite, which was perfect for the length of our stay. It offered plenty of space for the three of us and was the same price as the original hotel we booked. Service: All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and plenty of free parking available. Cleanliness: The entire property was exceptionally clean. The apartment, bathroom, reception area, and communal dining space were always spotless. Bedding: Really comfy bed and pillows and the block out curtains were great. On this 2-month long vacation, it’s been the best sleep I’ve had. Also, our adult son said the pull-out sofa bed was very comfortable. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was consistently delicious, with a good variety, and fresh fruit offered daily. Pim, the main server, was always friendly and incredibly hardworking—constantly cleaning, restocking food and drinks, and greeting guests with a smile. She is truly an asset to this hotel, as was the part-time lady who was there over the weekend. Noise: Considering how long we stayed, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the hotel was. Even on weekends when the hotel was full—including a children’s party with lots of young kids—we barely heard any noise inside the suite, aside from the occasional sound in the corridor. We only knew there were guests above us when the plumbing was in use, and even that was minimal. We never heard voices, TV’s or footsteps above (like we did at other hotels). I’m guessing the walls and floors are insulated. It was really great! Shower: hot and good pressure. Location: Close to everything in and around Saratoga Springs Amenities: Best hotel gym so far (1 cable machine, good variety of hand weights, variety of treadmills, stationery bike), Fast Wi-Fi, pool looked very clean, complimentary breakfast, Thursday night mixer (we had bangers and mash, it was good). They also have a shuttle that will take you into town and pick you up. Very convenient. Cons: None! This is where we’ll be staying whenever we’re in this area from now on.

This was the first time staying in a Homewood Suites and after my experience here, I’ll definitely be back. Every person I encountered, from the front desk clerks to the women who handled the meals, everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself was very nice and I loved the Halloween decorations. The grounds were very clean as well. I highly recommend this location!
